*Some truly diehard fans are shown outside the DIWF Dome, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where DIWF Generations is going to be held. They are having a cocktail party. The food seems to be good, but the excitement level is low. Out of nowhere one fan wearing a Kaientai shirt points over to a limousine pulling in. The fans start to gather around. The driver walks over to the door and opens it. Taka Michinoku, Sho Funaki, and Jackie Chan get out and the fans at the cocktail party go crazy. Taka and Funaki are going around shaking the fans hands and speaking Japanese to them. The fans are loving it, despite the fact that they dont understand a word either man is saying. The crowd starts chanting SPEECH!! SPEECH!! Taka and Funaki look at each other worriedly. They run into the building quickly and find a Japanese/American man who speaks both languages. They also have a microphone. The Japanese/American man goes and hides behind their limo, he has a microphone too. They jump on top of the limo and begin their speech, even though the words they are saying dont match their lip movements*
Jackie Chan: Hello fans! Gosh! Some of you people get here earlier than we do! (fans cheer) Regardless, were glad you are all here to listen to what we have to say before our big match tonight! This is no doubt almost as big of a night for all of you fans as it is for Kaientai and I! Tonight, after several months absence, Taka and Funaki return to Pay-Per-View!! We ran into a few Japanese gamblers one night and they said that if one of us could last 15 minutes in a fight with a Panda Bear, they would each pay us a sum that would convert to about $20,000 Canadian dollars! Young and nieve we were, and we played rock, paper, scissors for who would wrestle the panda. Funaki lost, therefore he had to fight the panda. We both admit it was dumb, but if it werent for that instance, we may not have been able to afford to stay with the Japanese wrestling promotion we were with at the time. That promotion is the one that got us true recognition as a tag team.
Jackie Chan: And where exactly was I during this little stunt?
Taka: (laughs) We didnt want you to worry Jackie, so we didnt tell you about it. It was for your own good, trust me!

Taka: Well, haha, he ran away from it for the first five minutes, but then he ran out of breath. Funaki caught his breath while the bear stared at him, and then he attacked! He started out by kicking the bear in the leg. All that did was upset the panda! The panda hit Funaki and knocked him flat on his ass. (Taka laughs) It took Funaki a couple minutes to get up after that, but he did. With about three minutes left, Funaki managed to get himself behind the panda, and he jumped on its back and hung on for dear life. He managed to stay on for the rest of the time with only minor injury!

Taka: One cracked rib.
Jackie Chan: WHAT!? That explains why he was slow for a couple months in that federation! Thats during the time you lost the first match you ever got a chance at a title shot! Youd worked so hard!

The destination: DIWF Tag Team Championship stardom. We reached our destination in almost no time at all! However, tonight marks one year from the time we were thrown off the top of the DIWF Tag Team mountain for the first time. It was a crushing blow for the two of us. We thought that we were truly invincible. We were on top of our game at last years Generations. And it was our match! Mt Fugi Ladder style! The match that we defined while we were in Japan! The return of the Ravagers however threw us off guard, and on that night, they were the better wrestlers. Things are a lot different now. It is not last year, it is 2002. Our opponents tonight are not the Ravagers, they are not even close to the type of caliber of men that the Ravagers were. And regrettably, I will say the third difference. When it comes right down to the line, we just want it way more than you do, or ever will. Even if youd throw in nothing else, that would be enough for us to have the edge we need to beat you.
